<description>Dr. Carlos Lima has been a friend and colleque of mine since 2005. I had not had response to several emails and just today learned that he had died June 21, 2012. My last contact with Carlos was the day before when he sent me an email thanking me for my continued support in his spinal injury therapy. At that time his procedure had been done for 170 spinal injury patients using the patient&#039;s own ofactory mucosa stem cells to repair their spinal injury. Dr. Lima was truly a pioneer and one of the most successful in using stem cells for actual therapy. He had recently been working to bring repair to spinal injury patients returning from the theatres of war in Afghanistan and Iraq. I counted him a friend and a scientist whom I totally admired. His procedure must proceed forward and it was accepted as standard therapy throughout the country of Japan. I have focused on his work in my Stem Cell News Reports and included his interview in my book, Miracle Stem Cell Heart Repair. I have many times talked about his work on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. Dr. Lima also taught the procedure in several other countries.
Carlos, my friend, your work must go on!
